The exchange rate has had a significant impact on UK sellers wishing to re-locate back to the UK in that they can afford to take lower offers on their properties or are reducing their property selling price because they can potentially make the same amount of money from Euro exchange to Sterling! The economy in Spain has risen vastly over the last 10 years with property sales increasing by over 120% between 1996 and 2006! Property prices in this area of the Northern Costa Blanca soared in 2003. In 2004 – 2006 prices did level out only to start falling in 2007. Javea & Moraira and its surrounding areas are prestigious and prime areas on the Northern Costa Blanca. The prices of properties in these areas may appear more expensive than that of some areas in the Southern Costa Blanca but this area is known as the Jewel in the Crown and is a far better investment. Here we have beautiful properties set on hillsides with stunning valley views and many properties with fantastic sea views! There are no high rise blocks of apartments due to strict planning policies so the areas remain unspoilt. Long term investors are still wishing to buy in these areas and are happily renting out their properties for additional income. Javea & Moraira still remain firm favourites for holidaymakers. The World Health Authority has for many years, voted the Northern Costa Blanca as being one of the top 10 healthiest climates to live in. There are many property opportunities out there today and 2010 is the right time to look at the vast variety of fantastic properties available in these beautiful areas.
